Internet Atlas of Hematology is the comprehensive section of the multimedial Atlas of Hematology. Complete version of the atlas is published exclusively on CD-ROM. The following section describes the morphology of normal peripheral blood and bone marrow cells as well as some abnormal peripheral blood cells. Each picture contains detailed description and comments. Cells on some pictures are labeled with numbers that allow their prompt and exact identification. Complete version of atlas of hematology, containing about 700 microscopic images is available only on CD-ROM. The Internet version gives the access to about 200 pictures. The first part of the Atlas containing 184 pictures is dedicated to morphology of normal and atypical cells of blood and bone marrow. Each picture is accompanied by a description. Individual hematological disorders are shown in the second part of the atlas, which is available on CD-ROM. The Internet gives the access to one typical presentation concerning the megaloblastic anemia.
